2020 architects have been designing buildings since 2000; however, their current success based on their sustainable modern designs only came with the recruitment of three highly regarded young designers and the now owners, Gareth Boyd, Michael Howe and Richard McKinney.
2020 Architects under Gareth, Michael and Richard have become Northern Ireland's leading sustainable Architectural Practice winning accolades for their modern designs. As a result their designs have appeared in numerous publications, they write a column on sustainability for a Northern Irish Newspaper and they are only the second architects from Northern Ireland to appear on Channel 4's 'Grand Designs' TV program. 2020 Architects are also consultees on the NIRO legislation covering the incentive scheme for sustainable energy generation and have advised on sustainable issues for the Royal Society of Ulster Architects.
