About the Business
A private chapel on the Cycladic island of Mykonos. A simple series of sculptural pavilions are connected around an open garden courtyard to form this contemporary Greek Orthodox church.
The historical interest of Hurworth House lies in its exemplary status as a modest Victorian gentleman's racing stables. This building typology is illustrative of the history and development of flat racing in Newmarket. Our objective was to radically reconfigure the interior to provide a succession of spacious and light filled interiors that opened intelligibly off a central axial spine.
