About the Business
I am a Chartered Architect with over 30 years experience. I trained at the University of Liverpool School of Architecture, 1972-1977, and was elected to the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1980. I gained wide experience during 15 years in the National Health Service. Within this organisation I undertook a variety of roles with a focus on design, research and the monitoring of standards. I progressed from Senior to Principal Architect. Since 1995 I have worked in private architectural practice in a range of senior positions and gained further experience across a range of sectors including education, housing, commercial, community projects, ecclesiastical, listed buildings and motor dealerships. I became a Planning Supervisor after the CDM Regulations were introduced in 1994 and from 2007 have acted as CDMC on notifiable construction projects following a change in the regulations.
