About the Business
I made the decision to follow the Architectural Technician route back in 2000 and it was the best decision I ever made and I have never looked back. I joined a private practice in Chester and began to learn the basics of architecture and designing. I enrolled onto a day-release ONC college course in Building Studies, advancing onto the HNC. I then moved into Local Authority and completed my studies with a BSc in Building Design Technology and Management degree at Liverpool John Moores University.
Working for the Local Authority gave me good insight and experience in a vast array of projects from disabled adaptations to domestic extensions; office conversions to new build offices; refurbishment of school toilets, outdoor education centres and sports pavilions and also working with Listed Buildings.
