About the Business
At J A Leask we design buildings in harmony with their context, respecting nature, vernacular style and historic fabric where possible. We consider sustainable local materials, low energy design and innovative technologies where client, brief and finance allow. Other Architects will tell you how they achieve unique solutions, have a holistic design approach, establish a creative dialogue with clients, etc. At J A Leask we do all this too.
Quite simply we deliver. We are not a 9-5 office, neither probably is your business. If you can only let us survey at 4am or 8pm? No problem. Do you need us on the islands over the weekend? Fine. Our experience from private entrepreneurs to professional developers has taught us that delivery of a project on-time and on budget is of paramount importance.
