About the Business
Originally from the north east of Scotland, John Lancaster moved to the Lothians after graduating from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. After a successful 5 years working for a practice in Edinburgh, he moved to East Lothian and started his own practice.
John aims to create attractive, sustainable and practical places where people want to live and work. A free consultation is the starting point for your project - John will visit you at your home or place of work to discuss your needs, wants, likes and dislikes. From this discussion he will begin the process of producing initial designs that meet your requirements and budget, working in accordance with current Planning guidance, Building Regulations and local and environmental conditions. John will advise on and apply for consents that will be required for your project, whether it be Planning Permission, Listed Building Consent or Building Warrant, and can supervise the project through the construction phase to completion.
