About the Business
We recognise that making first contact with an architect can be a daunting step - particularly with clients who have limited experience in employing an architect. With all clients we offer an initial consultation free of charge - providing the location is within reasonable distance to our office. We suggest this takes place where the proposed development is to be undertaken, whether this be a vacant site, home, office or factory.
The principle purpose of this meeting is to establish and understand the client's requirements in order to evolve the brief. In addition the following issues will invariably be discussed: site constraints, statutory requirements, budget, timescale and the process in general. In addition we can offer advice and guidance on building methods and procurement.
Following this initial consultation we are then in a position to provide the client with a detailed fee proposal and advise as to the involvement of additional consultant's such as Structural Engineers.
