David Soppitt designs traditional architecture that enhances rather than competes with the landscape. The palette of materials used in our designs reflect the desire for honesty and tradition. David Soppitt is a Chartered Architect, holding both RIBA and RIAS Membership with over 25 years experience. Educated at Edinburgh College of Art ( then part of Heriot Watt University) and on exchange at Rhode Island School of Design, David has long held an interest in the traditional vernacular architecture of Perthshire, his degree project being a study of vernacular architecture in Pitlochry.
Established in Perth in 2001, the Architectural Design Practice moved to Bankfoot on the edge of Highland Perthshire in 2010, ideally placed to serve Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and Blairgowrie, as well as Crieff, Comrie and the City of Perth.
